Continents

Omniluxia's Old World is a broken inheritance. Before the Great Collapse, the great lands of Luxterra and Morrigon belonged to a single supercontinent; after the Incident of 670 LC, oceans, storms, famine, and magical disaster remade the map. Around them lie island-continents and archipelagic worlds whose histories are no less important: Arteon, Eptelon, Horteon, Polaria, and Austropetolia.

This page covers the continents and continent-scale lands already central to the game's Old World. For smaller regions, seas, forests, valleys, and frontiers, see Regions. For political powers, see Countries. The New World remains gathered with regional geography while its lore is under development.

The Old World Continents

Luxterra

Luxterra is the eastern continent and the densest archive of Omniluxian history. It holds the Peaceful Valley remembered in Gnomish tradition, the Zerywani heartlands of early humanity, the Gold and Copper Dwarven inheritances, the Zani Empire's eastern core, and the later Razani Empire, Zainudian World, Zarakens, Jarenam Empire, Kingdom of Baetep, and Kingdom of Dune.

Its lore is inseparable from the Timeline: the Primordial War, Old Dragkhan invasions, elven migrations, the rise of human civilizations, Zainudianism, the Jarenam Invasion, and the long eastern struggle after the Great Collapse.

Morrigon

Morrigon is the western continent, the other great fragment of ancient Omniluxia. It is shaped by Silver Dwarven Srrorum, Blaze Dragon memory, Dragkhan migrations, Zani imperial frontiers, the Nazani Empire, the Soventeir Empire, Rohenoa and Rohevia, the Borderlands, and Orcish colonies.

Morrigon is also the continent where the post-Collapse west most visibly turns unstable: Nazani claims, Helluvian Dragkhan ambition, native Borderlander resistance, Marshlander pressure, and the dream of a restored Kingdom of Srrorum all collide.

Arteon

Arteon, the Island of Eternal War, is a continent-scale island scarred by High Elven invasion, native rivalries, and half-Elven militarization. It is tied to Aralans, Half-Elves, vampire secrecy, and the aftershocks of the High Elven Civil War.

Arteon is one of the clearest places where Omniluxia's colonial, racial, and magical histories become local politics. Citadels, mountain houses, mercenary princes, native powers, and hidden pacts all compete inside a landscape famous for unending conflict.

Eptelon

Eptelon is a beleaguered island-continent near Arteon and the Austropetolian Archipelago. Its peoples have been driven inward by Arteonian raiders, High Elves, and Ular-Pria slavers.

Eptelon is important because it sits between larger predatory worlds. Its history is not simply isolation, but pressure: colonial expansion from High Elven powers, slave raids from the Snake Isles, and maritime violence moving between Arteon, Austropetolia, and the Melodian continents.

Horteon

Horteon is the southern Melodian continent, a land of fire and ice contested by Horteonians, Eptelonians, native Gnomes, and the Atheusian High Elven slaver-empire. Its recent history is bound to Atheus, the High Elven Civil War, and the fragile High Elven Peace after the Great Collapse.

Horteon is one of the main theaters where High Elven imperialism, Gnomish displacement, Melodian influence, and native resistance overlap.

Polaria

Polaria is the arctic continent north of Horteon and the modern homeland of many Gnomes. It is known in different traditions through Kemi, Wuskouu, Waal, and Jaam, and it preserves the religious and cultural world of Kuulvaal, Wielkopan, the Iaawu Hearths, and Projection Magic.

Polaria's story is both exile and return. Gnomish tradition remembers origins in the Peaceful Valley, banishment after the Great Sin, survival in the north, and modern efforts to reclaim or defend a homeland under arctic conditions.

Austropetolia

Austropetolia is the archipelagic continent of the Snake Isles and Bloody Isles. It contains the shattered heirs of the Ular-Pria Empire, the half-serpent Austropetolians, Sea Elven and serpentine memories of the Great Collapse, and the Orcish homelands of Rendun and Remun.

Its geography makes it a continent of water, caves, trade, sugarcane, diamonds, silk, mercenaries, and post-imperial rivalry. The War of the Snakes, Mignadg, Kraklaz, and the Euryalid Kingdom make Austropetolia one of the most politically fragmented Old World lands.

Continental Themes

The continents are not only geography. They organize the game's major historical tensions:
