Morrigon
Morrigon is the western continent of the modern world, separated from Luxterra when the Great Collapse split ancient Omniluxia. It is a land shaped by dwarven kingdoms, dragon and Dragkhan migrations, Zani imperial rule, Nazani succession, and the rise of the Soventeir Empire.
Early History¶
Before the Great Collapse, Morrigon was part of the single continent of Omniluxia. Its deep past includes serpentine settlements, Silver Dwarven Srrorum, the Sky Kingdom or Ulraa of the Blaze Dragons, Copper Dwarven migrations, and the violence of the Great Primordial War.
Old Dragkhan and elven invasions shaped the early continent. Around 18,000 BLC, Udanalankar, Last of the Dragons, used his blood to create the modern Dragkhans and led them away from the Dragon Mountains toward the Zainddian Steppes. The same era saw final serpentine settlements driven from the continents by Old Dragkhan hordes, while orcs skirmished with Dragkhans across northern Morrigon.
Zanic and Post-Zanic Morrigon¶
Morrigon later became a major frontier of the Zani Empire. Zani power fought Dragkhanic peoples, settled colonies, and ruled through provinces and client systems. After the Incident in 670 LC split Omniluxia, the western imperial core could no longer rely on eastern aid.
In 671 LC, O-Bunn of the Nazani branch declared himself Emperor of the Zani in Bharamuntacho Zani, beginning the Razani-Nazani split. By 690 LC, the empire had formally divided into the Razani and Nazani successor states.
Later Powers¶
Post-Collapse Morrigon became a fractured field of successor states, border peoples, and rising powers. The Nazani lost and regained territories around the Marshlands and Borderlands; orcish refugees founded colonies on the mainland; and Sovenerian Dragkhan tribes expanded until the Soventeir Empire became one of Morrigon's great powers.
By the later timeline, southern Morrigon was heavily shaped by Sovenerian rule, Helluvian expansion, orcish trade ports, and conflicts with Borderlanders, Marshlanders, Zarakens, and Zani successor states.
Regions and Nations¶
Important Morrigon-linked pages include Nazani Empire, Soventeir Empire, Borderlands, Werhenlanders, Dragkhan, Orc, Rohenoa and Rohevia, and Zani Empire.
