Cultures

Omniluxia contains hundreds of cultures and culture groups. Many peoples share a race while differing sharply in faith, language, class structure, political memory, and relationship to empire.

This page is a cultural index. For biological ancestry, see Races. For political states, see Countries.

Human and Near-Human

Geallian (Gellaiaus)

The peoples of the Zani world and their descendants, including Weagelians, Vetalians, Ytalians, Enentans, colonial Zani, and related imperial cultures.

Zerywanic

Horse-nomads of the plains, divided between eastern and western Zerywani traditions and linked to the Three Brothers Zehi, Rossovi, and Lechi.

Illorian and Intermarenican

Mercantile city-state peoples of the Marenica Sea, including Intermarenican and Lidyan cultures.

Baetepian and Phanician

Southern peoples of Baetep, Upper Baetep, and the seafaring Phanician world. Their politics are shaped by the conflict between ancient Baetepian gods, Zanicized Sertemic rule, and Djehid restoration.

Werhenlander and Northlander

Werhenssian, Flusenlander, Northlander, Errnorfallian, and Norrfallian peoples of the north and east.

Borderlander, Marshlander, and Celtican

Native Morrigonian and western peoples including Borderlanders, Celticans, Etaredicans, and Esquelians, often caught between Nazani, Orcish, and local powers.

Arteonian and Horteonian

Northern, middle, and western Arteonians; Horteonians; Eptelonians; and Polarians. These cultures sit between High Elven colonial power, Gnomish survival, and native island politics.

Yedidyah

The Jedidyah, Wedidyah, and Yedidyah form a shared culture group associated with the hills of Yehya and the Yedidyhan vampire cult. Their related identity should not be confused with universal vampirism: some Yedidyah are pureblood Vampires, while the Wedidyah court of Virfigoriaa rules a broader and explicitly multicultural kingdom.

Zainudian, Zaraken, and Selaskuzian

Eastern faithful and steppe peoples, including Zinduidians, Zarakens, Selaskuzians, and Hazalars.

  • Gold Dwarves - Azari heirs of the Golden Kingdom.
  • Copper Dwarves - Copper Dwarven lineages of Anempanso and Qoes.
  • Common and Castaway Dwarves - dispersed dwarven communities outside the great ancestral centers.
  • Silver Halflings and Halflings - related smallfolk cultures with their own local identities.

Goblinoid and Orcish

  • Goblins - Ta'ata, Klumik, Kanai, and other cave or steppe groups.
  • Hobgoblins - Dragon's Pass peoples, including Droishu and Shoishoni traditions.

Other Peoples

  • Gnomes and Deep Gnomes - arctic and subterranean Gnomish cultures, including Jaam and Waal.
  • Kinones - clans and city-states of the Peaceful Valley.
  • Dragkhans - eastern, western, and Jarenamid Dragkhanic cultures.
  • Zorg, Dissolved, and other Eldritch peoples - cultures shaped by cosmic or post-Incident transformation.
