Copper Dwarves
The Copper Dwarves are the youngest of the three dwarven races, descended from the pair Frei and Dwadais. Their history is tied to Anempanso, Skyreach, Bad-Furqorin, and the survival of Edis the Grim's kingdom.
Biology¶
The Copper Dwarves claim descent from Frei and Dwadais, who emerged from the caves of Didnll. Like their Silver and Gold cousins, they are short, sturdy, and physically strong.
Society¶
Their ancient homeland is Anempanso, translated as Skyreach, a fitting name for their mountainous abode. Copper Dwarven history is shaped by fortification, craft, and survival against hostile neighbors.
The Copper Dwarves of Bad-Furqorin, the walled city on the Skyreach Steppes, have survived against near-constant sieges by Goblin and Selaskusian tribes. Their kingdom was founded by Edis the Grim, whose descendants still hold the city, though their luck may be running out.

The Kingdom of Edis¶
The Copper Dwarven realm of Bad-Furqorin, the City of Cinnabar, has its own page: Kingdom of Edis. There, Edis is venerated as a patron deity and the state survives on cinnabar wealth despite constant food insecurity.
