Halflings

Halflings are the children of Humans and Dwarves. The most common type, the Copper Halflings, can be found in the Halfling Hills near the Dwarven Grandlands or the western Skyreach foothills.

Biology¶

Most Halflings descend from humans and Copper Dwarves. They are short, sturdy, and often physically resilient compared with humans of similar stature. Like Silver Halflings, they occupy a mixed position between human flexibility and dwarven toughness.

Society¶

Many Halflings integrate into either human or dwarven society, but their status as neither fully human nor fully dwarf has led others to develop their own kingdoms and communities. These settlements allow Halflings to live among kin without constantly negotiating outsider status.

Halfling communities can also be found among the Illorians of the Marenica Sea, where small counties dream of uniting the realms of South Intermarenica.
