Silver Halflings
The Silver Halflings are the rare children of Silver Dwarf and Human unions. They are among the rarest peoples in Omniluxia because Silver Dwarven family customs strongly discourage relationships outside the dwarven community.
Biology¶
Silver Halflings are typically short, sturdy, and physically resilient. They inherit enough dwarven build to be noticeably hardier than many humans, while still living closer to human society than to orthodox Silver Dwarven kinship networks.
They are often described as brave, sometimes recklessly so. This reputation is partly cultural: many Silver Halflings grow up with the sense that they must prove themselves to peoples who see them as incomplete outsiders.
Society¶
Because Silver Dwarven familial values make relationships with other races taboo, Silver Halflings are often expelled or quietly pushed away from their dwarven relatives. Some integrate into nearby human communities; others live isolated lives at the margins of both societies.
Their social position makes them useful figures for understanding the harder edges of dwarven tradition. They are not foreign invaders or magical monsters, but family members whose existence challenges ideas of lineage, inheritance, and communal purity.
Historical Role¶
Current wiki sources preserve little political history for Silver Halflings as a group. They should be treated as rare individuals rather than a large nation. Their lives are most likely shaped by the border zones where Silver Dwarves and humans meet, especially regions touched by Srrorum, Saptarum, and later human expansion.
