Forest Elves

The Forest Elves, also called Wood Elves, live in the forests of Omniluxia. They were created by Mother Earth, also remembered as Mother Cafea or Mother Nature, to protect the forests and guide younger races.

Origins¶

Around 62,000 BLC, Mother Earth created the elven race along with the World's Lungs Forest. The Forest Elves are therefore among the oldest mortal peoples, bound directly to the primeval forests and the living world.

During later upheavals, elven settlers helped create the Southern Lungs Forest and Western Lungs Forest. Forest Elven memory also preserves the creation of Weylls, tapestries whose weaves record histories, around the era when Wielkopan emerged.

Biology¶

Wood Elves live for very long lifespans. When their bodies become too frail to maintain, they begin to transform into plants, most often great trees. This makes death and forest growth part of the same cycle.

Society¶

Many Wood Elves dwell beneath the canopy of the World's Lungs Forest in central Luxterra, where the Waldonian elves live in small settlements alongside nature and commune with the spirits of the deep forest. The peaceful Aneic faithful desire nothing more than to walk undisturbed within their wooded realms.

Beyond the great forest, isolated pockets of Aneic faithful are scattered across Omniluxia. Neighbors often leave them alone, viewing their presence as an omen of good fortune.
