Character Interactions

1,347 words·6 min read

This page lists current Omniluxia-specific character interactions verified against the local mod files. It intentionally excludes inherited vanilla or Invictus interactions unless Omniluxia has a distinct current implementation for them.

Open a character and press the character interactions button. If an option is missing, the target usually fails an access rule: the wrong country, status, age, trait, prisoner state, loyalty, cooldown, government, religion, culture, magic training, mana amount, or war/peace condition. City services are covered in City Instructions, while broader spellcasting and study are covered in Magic Instructions.

Scheme: Mana

Scheme: Mana is a mana-development scheme for magical characters. It appears through the character interaction path as Scheme: Mana and starts the scheme_mana ambition.

The target must be an adult employed character in your country, available for court action, not a prisoner, not indisposed, and not already running the scheme. They must have access to magic through a mage path or magical condition, such as mage, archmage, warlock, cleric, necromancer, lich, druid, elementalist, diviner, hierophant, illusionist, vampire, blood-angel curse, or Folk Magic. Characters already near maximum mana cannot use it.

The scheme lasts about a year. During it, the character loses health each month, may receive meditation events worth small, medium, or large mana gains, and gains a final mana reward when the scheme completes. It is best used on spellcasters who need reserves for Spell use, academy study, or higher-tier magic described in Magic Instructions.

Seduce

Seduce is Omniluxia's active seduction chain. It is not the old governor-enticing land transfer interaction; the current Omniluxia interaction is omni_seduce_character.

The seducer is your current ruler. The target must be a living adult who is not a mercenary, rebel, barbarian, pirate, or your current ruler. The seducer must be available for court action, not imprisoned, not indisposed, not already on the seduction cooldown, and either married to the target or lustful and not a close relative of the target. Foreign targets are limited by relationship context, such as allied, subject, overlord, ruler, royal spouse, spouse, or court access rules.

The event chain lets the ruler choose approaches such as gifts, flattery, bold advances, caution, daring escalation, or bribing a servant. These choices trade ruler wealth, popularity, corruption, exposure risk, and acceptance chance. Success can create an ongoing affair and loyalty effects, while rejection blocks repeat pursuit for a time. Exposure can damage popularity, add corruption, and trigger spouse consequences.

Imperial Blinding

Imperial Blinding is a Nazani Empire punishment interaction for the western Zani realm. It targets characters employed by that country and is available against qualifying adult prisoners.

The target must be valid, imprisoned, not already blind, and not protected by the disloyal-successor safeguard. Using it gives the country tyranny. The target gains the Blind and Wounded traits plus the permanent Imperial Blinding modifier, making them unable to lead armies or hold office in the Nazani Empire.

Use it as a harsh political neutralization tool within the fractured Zani Empire, especially when execution would not fit the situation.

Go Raiding

Go Raiding is the Omniluxia nomadic raid interaction. It targets your own ruler and is available only to player countries at peace.

The country must be a nomadic tribe, tribal chiefdom, Orcish culture group, or Eptelon culture group. The ruler must be a living adult, and the interaction applies a five-year cooldown. The raid target must be another landholding country in diplomatic range, not your subject, not your ally, not your own country, and not protected by the anti-repeat-raiding marker.

The interaction starts the raid event chain. It belongs especially with Orc, Eptelon, and nomadic or tribal play.

Go On A Hushunga

Go On A Hushunga is the Orcish ruler adventure interaction from OMNI_orc_adventure. It targets your own ruler and is available only to player countries at peace.

The country must follow an Orcish faith, and the ruler must be a living adult. The action starts the Hushunga event chain and applies a five-year cooldown. Its flavor centers on Orcish personal trial, glory, and inner flame development.

See Orc for the broader people and culture context.

Consume Man'a

Consume Man'a is a prisoner interaction for rulers with the goblin or lich condition. It is defined as eat_soul_char.

The target must be a valid prisoner who is not a ruler, co-ruler, mercenary, rebel, barbarian, pirate, or protected disloyal successor. The actor's current ruler must be available for court action and must have the required soul-eating identity. The country must not already be on the recent soul-eating cooldown and must have room to gain tyranny.

Using it costs stability, adds tyranny scaled from the victim's power base, starts a short cooldown, and fires the soul-consumption event. The interaction is tied most directly to Goblin and darker magical ruler paths connected to Magic.

Educate Child

Educate Child is Omniluxia's child education interaction. It targets a living non-adult character in your country who has not already been educated.

The target needs enough loyalty to accept. On use, the child receives the education marker and gains increased magic, maximum magic, and monthly magic growth. The code comments note that the ordinary focuses provide a modest mana reserve, while a magical focus expands capacity without granting free spells.

Use this early on heirs and promising minors if you want them to grow into stronger magical characters. For school access and later spell study, see Magic Instructions, Magic Styles, Omnic, Aldic, Amten, Melodian, and Folk Magic.

Cast Offensive Spells

Cast Offensive Spells opens Omniluxia's hostile spellcasting flow against an enemy commander. It is defined as offensive_magic.

The target must be a living enemy general whose employer is not a mercenary, barbarian, rebel, pirate, or The Revant. Your country must be at war with the target's employer, and you must have a valid caster, such as a ruler, general, physician, apothecary, or other character with qualifying magical training or folk unlocks.

The interaction opens the hostile magic event menu. Actual spell availability still depends on the caster's school, known spells, mana, cooldowns, and the target situation. See Magic Instructions, Spell, and Magic Styles.

Cast Plant Growth

Cast Plant Growth is an Amten/Druidic province-targeted magic interaction from OMNI_magic.

The caster must be your own living adult character with the pending spell variable and the Druid tier requirement. The target province must be owned by your country and cannot be sea or uninhabitable. Casting spends the Plant Growth mana cost and applies a temporary province growth modifier.

This belongs with Amten and druidic magic development.

Summon Dryads

Summon Dryads is an Amten/Druidic province-targeted magic interaction from OMNI_magic.

The caster must be your own living adult character with the pending spell variable and the Druid tier requirement. The province must be owned or controlled by your country, must be forest, jungle, or eldritch forest terrain, and cannot be sea or uninhabitable.

Casting spends the Summon Dryads mana cost, creates a temporary Dryad auxiliary army, and applies a province cooldown modifier. See Amten, Fai, and Magic.

Access Notes

Several older magic interactions have been removed or replaced by scripted buttons and menus. Use the Magic button, spell icons, city Magic Academy services, and Mage Tower spellbook purchases rather than looking for obsolete interactions like the old generic Cast Spell On or Study Magic entries.

If a current Omniluxia interaction does not appear, check both the character and the context: peace or war state, prisoner status, ruler availability, faith, culture group, mana, spell tier, cooldowns, and whether the target is in your country, an enemy army, or a valid province.
