Naathran

270 words·1 min read

Naathran, also written Na'athran, is one of the Four Great Gods and the divine power associated with the eastern regions of Omniluxia. He developed around 70,000 BLC, when the last Kosmonic essence was distributed among the emerging Primordials and the Primordial Wells.

Eastern Great God

The timeline identifies Naathran as the first of the Four Greats to develop, emerging in the East during the early Mythic Age. His rise belongs to the same moment when continents became recognizable, the last World Serpent died, and the first serpents appeared.

After most older Primordial powers faded or entered slumber, Naathran remained one of the strongest divine beings in Omniluxia. The location of his Well in the far east makes him important to eastern religious geography even where his worship takes different cultural forms.

Sea Elven Tradition

Naathran is remembered in the traditions of the Sea Elves, who say that he brought saplings from the World's Lungs Forest and planted them on Anror Ta-Oswir in exchange for their long lives. This story links him to both the east and the survival of elven life beyond the original forest world created by Mother Earth.

Legacy

Naathran's importance lies less in conquest than in continuity. He is a surviving great power from the first age of divine rule, a god whose eastern Well and elven associations preserve a memory older than most mortal histories.
