Four Great Gods of Omniluxia
The Four Great Gods of Omniluxia are Wishtheon, Wielkopan, Naathran, and Melodias. They are considered the strongest Omniscients remaining after most Primordials faded or entered eternal slumber.
The Four¶
- Naathran - the eastern Great God, one of the first to develop as the Primordial age began.
- Wishtheon - the western Great God, tied to creation, agriculture, ambition, and the failed first creation of humanity.
- Wielkopan - the southern Great God, creator of the Peaceful Valley and the gnomes.
- Melodias - the northern Great God, the Dark Goddess whose sealed Well caused the Great Collapse when opened.
The Emergence¶
The Four emerged during the Mythic Age through the Primordial Wells, after the last Kosmic essence was distributed among developing divine beings. Naathran developed in the east around 70,000 BLC, Wishtheon emerged in the west around 64,000 BLC, Wielkopan in the south around 59,000 BLC, and Melodias in the north around 31,000 BLC.
They did not all play the same role. Some created or blessed peoples; Melodias sought to overthrow the Primordials and helped bring about the Great Primordial War.
The Sealing of the Wells¶
During the Wonder Age, Melodias tried to destroy humanity. The Zerywani Twins sent the Party of the Great Heroes to seal the Primordial Wells and protect the mortal races. In 14,764 BLC, the party sealed Melodias into the final Well.
This act did not erase divine influence. The sealed gods remained present in memory, worship, and magical danger. Their Wells became sites of theological possibility and catastrophic risk.
After the Sealing¶
The most famous later opening was the Incident at Petramonis, when Theolosius opened Melodias's Well and caused the Great Collapse. Zani traditions also preserve the story that Zanis was urged to travel west and open Wishtheon's sealed Well, but he never did. Naathran's Well is remembered as lying in the far east.
