Lupinite

The Lupinite faith is an ancient pantheon centered on the worship of the great wolf-god Lula, whose many aspects govern the virtues of the pack. It predates and influenced later Geallian wolf traditions.

Lula the Wolf God¶

Lula is the primordial and greatest god of the Lupinite pantheon, a warlike wolf-god who reigns fiercely over the forests. He is worshipped through aspects that embody virtues drawn from wolf life:

• Lula Bes - the aspect of fraternity, promoting teamwork and community much as wolves hunt in packs. The Zani are thought to have adopted their word for the wolf-god from this aspect.
• Lula Fof - the aspect of loyalty, courageous above all else, though he lost prominence during ancient times of division.

Influence on Geallian Religion¶

Lupinite belief influenced the Geallian pantheon through Lupegen, the primordial wolf-god of pre-Geallian religion. Lupegen was later adopted into the Cult of Zanis, showing how Zanic religion absorbed older animal and ancestor powers into imperial worship.

The faith's emphasis on fraternity and loyalty also fits Geallian ideals of military brotherhood, civic intensity, and disciplined communal identity.

Legacy¶

Lupinite is important because it shows that Geallian wolf symbolism was not invented by the empire. It drew on older forest and pack traditions, later polished into Zanic religious language.
