Getting Started
Welcome to the Chronicles of Omniluxia wiki. This is the companion reference for the total-conversion fantasy mod for Imperator: Rome: part atlas, part historical chronicle, and part guide to the systems that shape a campaign.
Install and Play¶
- Open the Steam Workshop page and subscribe to Chronicles of Omniluxia.
- Enable the mod in the Imperator: Rome launcher and allow the launcher to finish downloading it before starting the game.
- Begin a new campaign unless the release notes explicitly say that an existing save is compatible. Large map, country, and system changes are not normally safe for an old save.
- If the mod does not appear, restart Steam and the launcher, then confirm that the game and mod are on the same active branch.
The wiki describes the campaign world at 1000 LC. Read the Countries, Continents, and Regions hubs for the opening atlas.
Where to Begin in the Wiki¶
- Follow the Timeline for the broad historical spine.
- Choose a country from Countries and follow its culture, race, religion, ruler, and region links.
- Compare Cultures and Races when a page uses both terms; culture describes institutions and traditions, while race describes ancestry and peoplehood.
- Explore Gameplay Systems for items, magic, bloodlines, interactions, and wonders.
Troubleshooting and Contributions¶
For a bug, include the mod version, game version, whether the problem reproduces in a new campaign, and a short reproduction path. Keep the wiki's Sources distinctions intact when adding material; the generated site's Credits & Licences page records the presentation-layer artwork and typography. Mark uncertain or deliberately withheld canon rather than presenting it as settled fact.
